IDRISS MOSQUE BOARD OF TRUSTEE MEETING MINUTES

February 13, 2005

The meeting was called in by the board to introduce the two new board members, Kausar Talat and Mohammed Faizi who re-places Zafar Khan and Hazim Rasheed. In addition, due to the loss of Secretary of the trust (Hazim Rasheed) a new secretary was to be appointed and agreed upon. The board members present were:

Hisham Farajallah

Adnan Bakar (Treasurer of the Trust)

Isam Fares

Mohammed Faizi (new)

Kausar Talat (new)

Jamil Abdul Razzak was absent from the meeting

Meeting was opened with prayers at 1:15 PM by Mohammed Faizi. The first order of the business is to appoint a secretary. Adnan Bakar proposed Kausar Talat who was seconded by Isam Faris and followed by the concurrence of Hisham Farajallah and Mohammad Faizi. Kausar Talat accepted the responsibility. The board decision was unanimous in this regard

Meeting was called to order and following was agreed upon by all members present:

1. Meeting minutes to be posted on the Idriss Mosque Website – Action item for Hisham.
2. An announcement to be prepared in concurrence with all board members to be sent to Trust beneficiary – Islamic Center of Washington (ICW). ICW will be requested to post this announcement on the Masjid notice board. – Action item for the Trust Sec. Kausar Talat.
3. The names of the two new members are to be registered as soon as possible – Action item for Adnan.
4. Trust treasurer provided the trust document to the new board members
5. All members present agreed to meet next week at the same place (Olympic Express – Roosevelt) at the same time – 1:00PM. Agenda for the next meeting as agreed upon is to review the Trust finances. Adnan Bakar – Treasurer of the Trust will present a financial statement of the trust to be reviewed by the board.
