1. ICW Constitution – responsibilities of the committees, subcommittees and the officers.
2. Status on choosing the Imam.
3. Eid locations and organization of the Eid.
4. Financial practices.

• Brother Hisham informed committee about resignation of brother Yosef and purposed sister Caroline for the position of Educational officer. There were no objections from committee. Brother Hisham will offer a position to her.
  • Brother Hisham revisited a Constitution of ICW. He reminded everybody about the policies and responsibilities of each position within committee.
  • Committee was informed about open position for Vice President of ICW. ICW is still looking for a candidate for this position. The responsibilities of Vice President include public relations and community outreach.
  • Brother Hisham will post the names of all officers within committees and subcommittees too.
  • Admistrator’s committee:

  • Financial committee:
    • Gencer Gokeri – leader

    • Religious committee:

  • Committee decided to approve Meeting Minutes via e-mails. The proposal voted and accepted by all members of committee.
  • Religious committee raised a question of imam. Committee discussed a need for imam and the need for full-time instead part-time imam. Brother Ahmed informed committee about a local candidate, who will be able to cut his hours at work and come to work as imam in the Idriss Mosque.
    • Committee discussed and agreed to give a religious committee a power to decide on criteria and set up trials for candidates. Member voted to start from local candidates if they are available and meet criteria. In case of unavailability of local candidates members voted to allow religious committee start research for the candidates within USA and than outside USA.
    • Members of committee purposed to religious committee create a list of criteria and present them for approval to committee.
  • Member of committee discussed approaching Eid. Brother Hisham informed about possible location fro Eid prayer. Vise President Ashraf appointed as point of contact and responsible for organization of Eid with the help of brother Fuad. Member of committee requested that brother Genser should be involved though every step of organization as a treasurer of ICW.
    • Brother Hisham informed members of committee that representative of Magnuson Park has contacted him and if committee will decide on this location, they will need to contact them quickly.
  • Committee has discussed some of the financial practices:
    • Practices of two signatures for every check
    • Brother Ashraf and Sister Yuliya have to be available at all times to sign checks.
    • All financial reports have to be ready by end of the year ASAP.
    • Schedule an audit for all financial reports by Audit Company.
