The Islamic Center of Washington (ICW) is a Socio cultural and educational not for profit, tax exempt organization. Its exclusive purpose is to promote harmony and understanding among communities at large through social and charitable events, increase awareness among non Muslims about Islam and Muslims through education, seminars and participation in interfaith activities.
To facilitate the above objective, ICW is to organize, arrange functions to raise funds, collect donations, ZAKAT, and other charities. The mission is to provide social and cultural services to the community at large including adult and children education, housing and shelters for the needy, as well as various multi purpose facilities accommodating variety of cultural, and religious activities.
