Jumu’ah prayer
On Fridays, Muslims gather for a special congregational prayer at midday. Idris Mosque holds two khutbahs so that everyone can attend; today’s times are shown above. The first khutbah is livestreamed on the mosque’s YouTube channel.
Good to know
More room at the second khutbah. The first Jumu’ah fills the prayer hall quickly. The second khutbah is noticeably less crowded, with more space to pray comfortably and easier parking. If your schedule allows, we encourage you to come to the second one.
Arriving for Jumu’ah? Please come early, park considerately in the neighborhood, and bring your own prayer mat if you prefer one.
The five daily prayers
Salah, the obligatory Muslim prayer, is performed five times each day and is the second pillar of Islam. The mosque is open for congregational prayer at each of them.
